Thanks for the kind words, Kyle. As for the Acorn shaped box, I think that was a cigarette box, and it was available for a short time in the early 60s. They are quite rare and very cool.

Love your site and dansk mills! I’ve been watching a bunch of these auctions as well and can’t believe the prices these items are fetching. At the moment I only own one mill described as the “doorknobs” mill that I purchased at a vintage shop for $30. I like the thrill of the hunt and a good deal, it doesn’t look like ebay provides that, unless you catch someone who doesn’t know what they have. I was also curious if you could tell me about a dansk piece I own that looks like small acorn shaped box. Thanks and keep up the good work!
