  Another big Wright auction came and went.  On May 12, 2011 28 mills sold for $3,750, or about $133 each. Not too shabby. Looks like there’s a few cool Nissen mills, a GC Dansk mill, and the rest by JHQ, although not any super rare ones. Nice.

  Long time collector Oysterbay is selling off some of his collection and currently has a few super rare mills up for auction. See the mills > Here’s my two favorites.  The top one is cocobolo and the bottom wenge. I hope to find them for myself, someday!

  Finally, the mill “Jane” is available on Amazon.  I like this design the best out of the reissues, and it is based on the rarest of the designs they decided to reissue.  It’s a little “thicker” in the middle than the original, but still quite cool.
