I was on ebay this weekend to look for some different mills and there is a collection of 28 teak Danish peppermills on auction. I think they were asking 2,900 for an opening bid. Is that a good deal? I suppose it would take a long time to acquire that many mills , I don’t see them for sale at antique shows so much anymore.

BTW, what threw me is that the only marks (on the metal) are a patent # and “Made In Denmark”.

Beautiful and quite impressive. I have a few that are easily identifiable, but I also have the mill that is 15th from the left on the top row and have been unable to identify. So similar to another Quistgaard mill, but have found no reference to it. Any thoughts?

I bought a Dansk style 834 peppermill and am not sure how to fill it. The other peppermills I have each have 4 pegs so it’s easy to figure out. Style 834 has only 2 pegs so I don’t know which is for salt and which is for pepper. Thanks for your help.

In season one of FX networks “American Horror Story”, you can clearly see a Dansk Flamestone Coffee pot in the kitchen. I wonder if anyone took a screenshot like the Kobenstyle piece in Mad Men.
