Since I wrote the book Danish Pepper, I’ve been contacted by several collectors with great collections. After the jump is one of the best I’ve seen. It features a great variety of common and super rare mills, including one I’ve never seen before and one so rare I didn’t see it till after the book was published. The whole thing is displayed on thick glass shelves with a few other key danish modern pieces.
Very nice! Readers – keep the photos coming!

That looks like a good fraction of the designs they made. Of the couple I can identify the country of, it looks like they have the Nissen produced versions.
There’s an interesting mix of commonality — did the person who owns this set tell you how they collected them? For about a half dozen or so of those, I haven’t seen them on eBay at all.
I’d really like to see Doug Phillips collection. Apparently he has a mid-sized fortune invested in them.
I’m curious about the pepper mill third from left
Bottom row. I have one of these Quistgaards
with the lion. It’s NOT for sale. I’ve never seen
Another.
