For three short hours today you could have bought this nice pepper mill collection for the low low price of only $1,250. Well, maybe the price isn’t that low, but considering that two of the 14 are rare enough to be worth prob $250 each, and over half have early metal grinders, it starts to look attractive. Congratulations to the winner!

Hello there,
I have recently aquired a JHQ salt/pepper mill and I was hoping that someone here could tell me more about it. It is shaped like an “upside-down wine glass.” The top has a “UFO” shape and snaps on and off via plastic fasteners for filling. The bottom is stamped (in the wood) with “DENMARK JHQ” and the stainless mill base reads “Peugeot –?–” and appears to have Jens Quistgaard’s signature over the word “LION”. I also have very clear, detailed photos here: http://s739.photobucket.com/albums/xx36/souptafied/JHQ/ . Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks, Steve
