I was highly amused by this eBay listing today. Under a photo of what is clearly (to my eyes) NOT a Dansk pepper mill:
I’ve looked everywhere for a marking on this awesome 7” tall teak combination pepper mill and saltshaker. I know the newer ones were marked with a transparent plastic label, and is probably gone. If this isn’t Dansk, I’ll eat it!
We’ll, I suggest a side of fava beans and a nice Chianti, cause this is going to be a little tough to chew…

I agree, not Dansk, but also not a bad looking mill. If I found it in a thrift store for 99 cents… Ooops, forgot remove the grease pen price.

It sold for $10.99. I guess he made $10, but in some circles this would be known as “eating it”.
