I just found that there has been a book written about the late Mary Nohl, who is the misunderstood Witch of Fox Point, Wisconsin. She had a home that was covered in and surrounded by her art. It was located right on Lake Michigan in a small exclusive suburb of Milwaukee. You had to go down a big hill and almost to the end of dead end to find it. As a kid (and later when visiting as an adult) we would visit the house and wonder what was going on in there and who made all the statues. There were numerous stories about the Witch who lived inside, and as a young boy I could only imagine. It is a beautiful place in a dramatic location – I hope it gets preserved.

before i scrolled down i wondered if that was where the cover of Hallowed Ground came from. great album, equal to or better than the 1st in my opinion.
