There’s a Dansk mill on eBay right now – one of rosewood and metal series – that will set a new record (at least as far as I’ve seen) for a Dansk pepper mill. The auction started at $795 and there is one bid, so it will sell. Let’s see how high it goes…
While I agree this a super ultra rare mill, I think it has been on eBay before – probably 4 years ago or so. I’m quite sure that is how I got the reference image for the illustration in my book. That doesn’t really matter, though, it’s a great find and you won’t see one again soon.
UPDATE: The mill just sold for $795. That’s a new record for a JHQ mill. Congratulations to both the buyer and the seller.

I just saw a Dansk mill sell on ebay for $837.99. I saw it named somewhere as a magic sand style.
I am the seller of that mill. It was truly a fantastic mill and a great find.
