The new (as of March) Paul Smith store in San Francisco is really amazing. Sure, it has Paul Smith clothing but it also has a great collection of new and vintage design goods which includes books, art, and a great collection of Danish Modern – especially Dansk teak and Lisa Larson ceramics. Accompanying all those great Dansk teak pieces – including mills, ice buckets, bowls, and more – is my book, Danish Pepper.
I really am honored to part of the collection for sale in their store. The store and all the displays are really well done – the whole place is very impressive. The clothes are really cool, too. If I had $1,500 to spend on a jacket or $100 to spend on a wool cap, I’d be shopping there right now.
I haven’t been to the NY store, but I understand that they have a similar display. Very nice.
