Too bad Chanukah is almost over, cause there’s a new mill collection that just went up on eBay. All metal Peugeot grinders, 25 mills, one price. This is a nice collection with several mills that are quite rare.

Sadly looks as if the seller sold the lot off-site to avoid eBay fees rather than the letting the market value the lot
Update: The collection just sold for $3,638. That’s and average of $145 per mill. Since some of them are very rare and the are all marked Denmark (no later Thai mills), it’s not a bad deal for a great collection.
Hi there, just found your design blog (love it).
Is the pepper mill with a cross (phillips head screwdriver) one of the rare ones?
Jill, when I was actively collecting a couple years ago, I would have classified that style as uncommon. It’s probably about the same today. The most common ones were the one I call pepperbot and the 895 (mushroom) style.
Mark may have a different opinion.
